Sekond Skin studios represents the rebirth or awakening that so many women and men have found through Buti Yoga.
While this practice gives you the physical transformation you come looking for, it is the inner transformation that keeps people coming back week after week. Just like the snake sheds its skin to reveal a new self, Buti Yoga will bring you to discover your new or true self and reveal the “cure which has been kept secret”.
Lee-Anne’s goal is to create unique vibe in her yoga studio. Think: Yoga meets the Club. She brings with her a tribe of high class, badass babes and encourages you to join her in this dynamic practice!
With a solid foundation in traditional yoga and the birth of her son in 2016, Emily discovered Buti yoga not only to be a physically healing practice for her postpartum body, but an emotionally empowering force she had to share with her community. She started teaching in the summer of 2018 and is now working with a couple studios to grow the Buti tribe.
Amy is certified in Buti Yoga and has been teaching since the spring of 2018. She also certified in Buti Bands and Sculpt in June 2019. Amy is passionate about health and enjoys encouraging others to love who they are as well as where they are. Her drive is to create a class environment that leaves you feeling revived and inspired to face anything your day may bring.
Lauren has been practicing yoga and incorporating its philosophy into her life since 2007. While studying dance and musical theatre for 4 years she yearned for something else, so began her deep love of yoga. The journey was to increase energy and flexibility to marriage with her studies, but going more and more she found a deeper more spiritual practice. She has received 200 hr certification from Pranalife YTT in 2015/2016. Since then she has received her 500 hrs in avancedand training, cetifications in Barre, Pilates, Restorative yoga and Yin yoga.
Is founder and owner of Waterloo’s first SUP(standup paddle) Yoga, launched in thw summer of 2017. When teaching she hopes for her students to find balance mentally, physically, and spiritually providing them with a practice that they can embody in their daily lives off the mat.
Jessi Del Rosso
Jessi can be described as a “Jack of all Trades”. She is in love with teaching yoga and loves playing with different versions of more traditional asanas. Jessi is passionate about building resilience and strength in the body so that the body becomes stronger both on and off the mat. Jessi completed her 200 Yoga Teacher Training with Asia Nelson and is completing her Masters of Social Work degree. Jessi is also the owner of Enhanced Yoga and is the first yoga instructor to bring Cannabis Yoga to the cities of Kitchener and Waterloo, training alongside Dee Dussault. Jessi ends all of class with singing and horrible jokes followed by laughter (sometimes, only her own) is common in her classes.
